It has been a few days since the government announced the increase in price for both petrol and diesel. I can notice the initiatives to reduce the burden of rakyat. The rise in price of oil seems unending. We have always learnt about alternative seeking but i cant seem to hear any solution at this moment.
The Prime Minister has been distributing goodies to Sabah and Sarawak. I believe the citizens there are happy but I am curious....I thought the gov wanted to save money...Isnt this quite different from the objective.... Anyway, I believe there is a reason for it.
The fares for RapidKL has increased from RM1 to RM2. Metrobus is still charging 0.90 cents...I thought that RapidKL receives subsidy from the government....

As the head of the federal Energy Information Administration, delivered the sober news Wednesday at a congressional hearing on energy prices and the future of oil. Even as he spoke, oil prices jumped again, edging for a time above $138a barrel and putting yet more upward pressure on gasoline prices.
